Use of Google Assistant
Have your ever set up OK Google? If you have done so, then you have got
two awesome ways to access Google Assistant. Therefore, to access Google
Assistant, just use OK Google or long-press the home button. And as you do,
just start talking. This feature was exclusive to the Pixel for a few months,
but it rolled out to every Android phone running Marshmallow or higher.
Google Assistant does understand more context and natural language than the
very old voice of Google search feature. This
can then be integrated with
third-party services like IFTTT,
Samsung Smart-Things, and Nest. It is so
great at home automation and searching the web, and it can even read you the
news of the day by detecting later need and yelling you about it.
Making use of your device's Screen Pinning
If you really need to hand over
your device to someone else, but you don’t
want them to peep around your phone, going into other Applications, then it
is a very easy task, you can make use of your device screen pinning. This is a
straightforward way to do it — just pin the screen. You can enable this by
default
on most of the devices, but if it is not so,
you need to check the
security menu in your device settings and set it up there. Next, you need to
Tap on the app icon on any Application in the
multitasking interface and
there, you can select the “Pin” option to prevent them from switching in
between Applications on your dear phone. If you really do have a secure lock
screen, you then can require that unlock method for you to leave the pinned
app.
