Using your device Manager to Manage Default
Applications
Several actions on an Android device will have to ask you to set up a default
Application, but then, what if you decide that you do not really like that
default Application anymore? Okay, it is worthy
of note that most phones
today have an application setting menu and option that is dedicated to it by
default right in the application settings. However, you can always try to clear
out those defaults by simply finding
your very default Applications, which
are in the main menu of the app settings. Then, whenever you look at the info
page for any Application, there will then be an option toward the bottom for
you to view and clear the defaults as you wish. That will then let you select a
new default the very next time you want to perform any Application action.
Setting up Developer Options
Google does hide few of the more advanced tools,
which are in a special
Developer Options menu that you will need to have access to and enable it
for you to get at things like animation speed, and even USB debugging, and
Application standby too. Actually, to turn on the Google Developer Options,
you need to open the “About phone” menu
at the very bottom of your
device's settings and there, you will have to find the build number.
Tap on
that seven times, and as you
tap on that for seven times, immediately after
seven times, you will get a message that you are now an engineer.
The dev
alternatives will presently be at the very bottom of your main device settings.
These are how these things are done,
they are as easy as that, just launch
them now and enjoy the smooth sailing of your device.
