6: Global Positioning Systems
Now-a-days, geo-scientists are confronted with problems in geo-referencing
satellite imagery or Arial photos. To this end, often an existing map of the
area is used,
in the absence of any maps, they would need to apply a fast
but accurate method for geo-referencing, which will confront them with
satellite positioning technology (GPS).
This course will start with the fundamental aspects of GPS, and then it will
