Language
is means of communication, without it we can not speak.
Peculiarities of language:
1.
Arbitrary-
judgement
language set a rule that we call females women.

Social-
for
a group of people, they interact, socialize
3.
Symbolic-
in language, there
are not only words, but there
are signs also
e.g. road signs.
4.
Vocal-
earlier language
was oral, time passed, writing came into existence.
5.
Systematic-
following the system
6.
Productivity and creativity-
people use the
language productively,
creatively.

Speech is a process which has 5 elements:
1.
Speaker-
a person who starts the conversation first.
2.
Message-
important part of speech, helps the
listener to understand
3.
Listener-
4.
Interference
5.
Situation-
place and time of conveying a message.
