Describe a time when you bought something online
Well, I believe online shopping is one of the best things that happened to us recently. Because it not only saves time, but it also provides you with a wider range of options. I mean sometimes when you want to buy something from a local shopping mall, it’s very likely that there will be a limited range of products to choose from.
And this is exactly what happened to me when I wanted to get a bag for my mom for her birthday last year. So I normally ask my mom what to get for her birthday because this discussion allows me to get the best thing for her instead of giving something she’ll probably never use. And last year she told me that her bag was out of date and wanted a new one. And I happily accepted that suggestion. And then with my sister, I explored a couple of bags online and chose the best one. But when we actually went to buy it from local shops, we couldn’t find it. We spent probably 3 days looking for the bag we saw online.
So, we had no option but to order it online. At first of course, we were a bit reluctant to do that because online shopping is not the most reliable way to buy things because you may end up with a thing which is damaged or it may be totally different thing to what you order. But in the end we went for it because we didn’t have any other options. And the bag arrived in like three weeks and it was exactly what we were searching. And we, including my mom, were very happy with that.

Describe a TV program that you often watch
Well, considering how busy I am these days thanks to my job and studies and extra lessons, I don’t really have time to watch TV. I may watch TV when having dinner with my family members but other than this watching TV is not something I normally do. But last Sunday, when my little brother was flicking through channels to pick one to watch, I saw this program called ‘How it is produced’ and it just got me hooked not because I had nothing to do but because it used to be one of my favorite TV programs in my childhood.
The program, like its name suggests, shows how things that we use on a daily basis such as the iron or refrigerator are produced. What I particularly like about this program is that even though there is a lot of science behind those things and it can be difficult for an average person, the program uses such a simple language that I actually feel smart while watching it.
So, when I saw the same program on TV after not seeing it for like 10 plus years, it made me remember how I used to look forward to it. And on that particular episode, the process by which bicycles are produced was explained. It lasted for like 40 minutes and it explained every step involved in making just one bike ranging from how the framework is made and what kind of metal is used to how the tire for different kinds of bikes are made. I never thought about how much effort was put into creating one single bicycle until the program made me. And it also made me appreciate the work of whoever made my bike.
