Describe a city you`d like to stay Well for me traveling is one of the best ways to broaden my outlook cause not only does it improve my cultural awareness but it also allows me to talk to different minded people and exchange ideas with them and in general it's a lot of fun. So every year I make sure that I take some time traveling and there are several interesting cities that I have been to and I want to be in too.
Actually I can talk about any place that I have visited so far cuz I believe every city has its uniqueness right? For example some have foods that cannot be found anywhere else some others may have customs that set apart from other cities but now I'll probably talk about the city that I've always wanted to visit and this is Manchester
Firstly as someone has been learning the English language for some time it's a dream of mine to go to England but this dream of mine is fueled by my interest in football. I mean I've been supporting Manchester United football club since I was like nine-10 years old. To be honest to this day I hardly ever miss any matches involving my favorite football club and there are very few things that I don't know about the club and naturally about the city too. Ever since I started watching football matches, I've been dying to visit this legendary stadium called ‘Old Trafford’ which is located like 2 miles away from the city center and I hope I'll be able to fulfill this dream of mine very soon cuz I've been now working very hard to fund my visit there and I'm sure this is going to be quite an experience.
Describe a time when you received good news Well, hearing something good from others, that can completely change your mood and make your day is a blessing. You can be having a hard day or you might be tired and all of a sudden you hear something that might or might not benefit you. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be about yourself sometimes hearing that your friend or relative achieves something or probably bought a house or a car can also have the same effect on your mood. At least this is what happened to me when I heard that my friend had been accepted into his dream university recently.
I’ve got a friend and we’ve been friends with him for almost ten years now. And just last week he gave me a call and told me that he got into one of the prestigious universities in America. He also told me that I was the first person he called, and that kind of made me special and happy at the same time. When it comes to the news itself it was completely amazing because I know that he had to put a lot of effort into preparing his application, he spent quite a lot of money too. After he send all of the application documents, the waiting process was particularly stressful, because the acceptance rate to that university is not that high, especially for students from my country. So you can imagine how happy he was when he received an email about his acceptance.
So after that we met and celebrated it in a fancy restaurant, there were his family members and a couple of other common friends and we had a great time now he is sorting out his visa and probably will leave in two weeks.
