How to use as Entrance/Exit Ticket at the beginning of class •
Before class begins, write your question on the classroom
blackboard.
•
Example: “What is one main idea you remember from last
week’s lesson?”
•
Tell students to write the answer using “words only” or
“complete sentences”
•
As students enter classroom give them a small piece of paper
•
Tell students to read the question on the blackboard and follow
the directions
•
After all students have arrived, give a one-minute warning that
papers will be collected.
•
Collect papers. Read them immediately or later depending on
how you want to use the information.
