Numpy: That is used for using arrays/matrices.
OS: This library creates communication with the operating system.
Datetime: Datetime library is utilized to get the real date and time,
as it is needed for attendance list.
Challenges 1.
Lightning condition. If the lightning is not satisfactory enough to
detect the faces, specially sitting at the back desks, the accuracy
and efficiency will decrease.
2. Angle of view. If the face is more than 60 degrees to the cam, then
the system will not detect it. 180 degree horizontally rotating
cameras can be a possible solution.
3. Obstacles. The camera must be placed in such a location that can
detect all people, without creating an obstacle for each other.
Conclusion To sum up, the thesis addressed attendance-checking using face
recognition. It is a modernized method that can be applied instead of
the systems used today and eliminate the cons of these systems.
