One example of such an identification of two terms can be the definition in Tkachenko, who,
speaking about the cloud and cloud computing, believes that "Cloud computing is a model for
providing remote access to shared computing resources that are physically distributed on many
remote devices forming the so-called cloud" [4].
I.N.Golitsyna in her work divides these two concepts as follows. Cloud computing is an
information processing model in which both hardware and software resources involved in the
process of solving a problem are provided to users as an online service. Cloud technologies allow
you to organize access to different types of social software, using all the advantages of this type of
information technology in the educational process, they can serve as a platform for organizing
mobile learning.[2]
The main part
It should be noted that the range of applications of cloud technologies is very wide and
includes the education sector. Currently, a number of cloud service providers (for example,
Microsoft, Google) offer various cloud services (for storing data, email, text documents,
spreadsheets, presentations, etc.) that can be used as a basis for the educational process. They can be
used as a basis for solving various tasks in the educational process:
- Creation of e-learning content provided in various formats, storage in structured formats
and organization of remote access
- Implementation and feedback of network interaction between all subjects of the
educational process;
- Organization of group project activities in the network;
- ensuring the planning of educational activities;
- collection, storage and processing of learning outcomes.
The realization of these opportunities allows you to build individual educational trajectories
for each student based on cloud technologies, organize independent work in electronic, mobile,
network and mixed forms of education and contribute to the implementation of the principles of
continuing education (independence from geographical location, economic security, social status,
health status, etc.).
Thanks to such a knowledge system, the cloud service makes it possible to integrate
students, teachers and many additional resources into the educational process, as well as the ability
to track learning outcomes. This knowledge is digitized and stored in a knowledge base, which is
then processed by various reasoning elements.
Sh.T. Shekerbekova and U. Nesipkaliev believe that cloud technologies are a new way of
organizing the educational process, replacing traditional ways of organizing the educational process
and creating opportunities for individual learning, group learning and interactive learning.[5]
Among the advantages of cloud technologies, Akhatova R.Yu. calls the fact that they allow
students to work together on written papers, conduct surveys and tests, manage electronic
documents of teachers and students, i.e. use and publish documents of various types and purposes
with shared access, as well as organize interactive classes and group training.[1]
I.Robert believes that cloud services make it possible to use the communication capabilities
of a common information environment to achieve the goals of distance learning and education, and
similar methods can be found. Therefore, cloud services become a mechanism for achieving
common goals in student-teacher communication.[3]
