Transcript 04 Customer: I need a table for twelve – it’s my husband’s
30
th
birthday, so we’re having a celebration
dinner.
Manager: So that’s twelve people for the sixteenth.
Customer: No, no, it’s the day ater – the seventeenth –
Saturday the seventeenth, at eight o’clock.
Manager: Ah, yes, of course. A party of twelve for the
Saturday? Oh, I’m sorry, but I’m afraid our
main restaurant is fully booked that evening
but we do have a small room available for
private hire. It can seat up to 20 people, so
there would be plenty of space for 12 of you.
