Английский язык на протяжении ХХ-ХХI веков выступает как язык международного
общения. Эта его роль важна в процессе обучения русскому языку как иностранному.
Использование английского языка как посредника в обучении рассматривается на
лексическом, грамматическом лингвокультурологическом уровне. Особое внимание
уделяется применению английского языка в процессе обучения РКИ среди студентов
разных национальностей. Представлены примеры из практической деятельности по
обучению РКИ с опорой на английский язык как язык посредник.

(Abstract)
The UzTESPING research team conducted a survey among ESP teachers in Uzbekistan to gather
data on various aspects of ESP teaching. The survey aimed to determine who contributes the
most in designing syllabus, how frequently materials are updated and the ESP teachers' opinions
on what the course should focus on. The survey also aimed to identify the challenges faced by
ESP teachers and the areas of ESP where they would like to receive training. The findings of the
survey provide insight into the current state of ESP teaching in Uzbekistan and highlight gaps in
the knowledge and skills of ESP teachers. The UzTESPING research team will share the
collected data to facilitate further discussion and development of ESP teaching practices in
Uzbekistan. This study also found that there is an urgent need for teachers to update and train
themselves in order to be flexible in adopting a blend of suitable teaching pedagogies that meet
the needs of their students. The entire research team collected 330 responses from 90 universities
