Introduction:
We use should when we want to show that:
• something is a good idea.
• we want something to happen.
• we want to give advice for something
Shouldn't I should not
We use shouldn't/ should not when we want to show that:
• something is a bad idea.
• we don't want something to happen.
• we want to give advice against something.
We use a verb in the infinitive form, such as do or make after should and shouldn't/should not.
We can use should in questions to ask for someone's advice:
Should children have sports lessons in school?
