The first time when I was standing in front of the class was strange. First of all, it was very odd to hear students calling me “teacher”. At first I even though that they are calling their “real” teacher and didn’t pay attention to this approach. It was a very funny moment. However, I get used to this “title” during the first teaching day. Next, it was very interesting to try myself as a teacher, monitor of the class. A lot of questions were spinning in my head. Will my teaching style be acceptable for the students? Will my students be always in control? Will my explanations be clear for the students? Hopefully, everything was great!
I was lucky to work with a primary school teacher who had just finished her degree on the course that I was on a few years ago. So the teacher was very supportive in helping me get used to the way the school works and the things that I should be achieving as a student teacher.
I think that teaching practice is one of the most important moments in the process of language learning. During my teaching practice I could view the education process not on behalf of the student but as the teacher. And I should admit that I liked this process, I like to work with students, pupils, with personalities and I like to help them to master the language!
Now I am preparing for my lessons. It takes so much time!!!! Teacher’s work is difficult. However, I understood that it has a big advantage. A teacher always communicates, approaches young people, broaden an outlook and every day has to prepare a small show for the students. And it amazed me.

E.g., it could be growing flowers, making a flower bed or a mini-garden.
