In BIBRA Report it is noticed that:
-No adverse effects were apparently seen when an unspecified number of pregnant mice ingested
water containing HCl at a pH of 2.5(providing about 14.3 mg/kg bw/day)
-A slight increase in fetal mortality occurred when about 0.2mg/kg bw was injected into the womb of
pregnant mice, but no malformations were induced in the 17 fetuses.

Inhalation of 1300 ppm HCl kills human in 30 minutes.35 ppm HCl in air causes throat irritation in a
short time.
