SOME ISSUES OF STUDYING THE PROBLEM OF STYLE IN POETRY Bawetdinov M.K. Karakalpak state University named after Berdakh Summary: This article deals with the problem of style in literary. Opinions are given about the nature of the style and its reflection in the lyrics. Based on this, conclusions are given on which side to study style in poetry. Keywords: poetry, literature, style, poet, individuality, comparison. In fiction, the style of the creator is of great importance. The reason is that the writer or poet
has his own style, which ensures the artistic and aesthetic effect of the works. This, in turn, expands
the scope of genre, form, thematic, ideological updates. In fact, the term style is used in various
fields of science (literary studies, linguistics, art, cultural studies, aesthetics, etc.). The concept of
style was first justified from an aesthetic point of view in the XVIII century in I. Winkelman's work
"History of the Art of Antiquity". Later, at the border of the 19th and 20th centuries, this concept
began to become one of the main issues in literary studies and cultural studies. Even now, in literary
studies, no clear scientific solution has been reached on the issue of artistic style. Because there are
many "difficulties of this doctrine and subtle aspects of theories related to it" [6].
There are many versions of the term "style" in literary studies. The issue of determining the
subject of style is still one of the controversial issues. While answering the question of where style
is seen in fiction, some literary scholars believe that only form is artistic, and style is one of its main
categories. Another group of literary critics considers style not only a category of form, but also of
content.
Also, the terms "simple style", "complex style", "national style", "modern style" are also
used. In our opinion, these terms have a general quality, on the basis of which the study of style is
superficial. At the same time, it is not justified to use the term style in addition to various processes
in literature (genre style, literary type style, form style). As a result of this, misunderstandings and
confusions arise in theories. Therefore, when studying the issue of style, it is better to pay attention
as much as possible to the individuality of the creator, the unity of content and form in his works,
and his poetics in general.
In literary studies, there are two conflicting views on the theory of style, the "static" and the
"dynamic" view. "From a static point of view, style theory is formed through language,
metaphorical methods and other artistic tools, while from a dynamic point of view, style theory
includes aspects such as originality, artistry, literary direction, worldview, artistic method, aesthetic
ideal. Since the static approach does not justify itself, many experts turn to the dynamic approach
[2]. In fact, style is often associated with the unique writing style of an individual artist. Because
every work of art introduces the creative individuality of the poet or writer who wrote it to the
reader. It can be understood from the features of the language, the theme and the idea, and the way
of creating an image.
The study of the style of poets in lyric poetry has a number of peculiarities. If these
differences are mainly visible from the form side, they are combined with the content from the
general side. For example, in an epic, the writer's style depends on such factors as the choice of
plot, characters, narrative typology, and the language of the work, while in dramaturgy, the style is
evident through the skills of the playwright to create a systematic dialogue, develop the drama
according to the possibilities or requirements of the stage, and influence the action through words.
Unlike the two literary types mentioned above, in lyric poetry, it is necessary to understand that the
features of the poet's creation of a lyrical character, thereby affecting the idea, composition, rhyme,
