and rhythm of the work. The poet's personal point of view, taste, worldview is transferred to his
lyrical hero and shows individual examples of creating a work.
Literary scholar J. Sagiydullaeva, who studied Karakalpak stories from a style point of view,
said in her monograph, based on the theoretical ideas of her predecessors, "...style should be sought
from the unity of content and form. "In particular, the leadership character of the content should be
taken into account, [4:15]" he concludes. So, while the style in the lyrics is clearly revealed, its
specific features are felt in the poet's poem, starting from the external form and the entire content.
The style of any poet is the result of his artistic research. Professor K. Orazimbetov in his book
"Artistic researches in contemporary Karakalpak lyrics (80s)" puts forward the opinion that
"...every single literary style should be studied as a process arising from the power of national
culture and the state of development" [3:71]. In fact, the school of poets before him, his creative
environment, and time have a special influence on the poet's manifestation of his style as a creator,
that is, his achievement.
Personal style includes the connection between the style of the poet's artistic work and his
worldview. Personal style consists of a set of concepts such as language, composition, genre,
rhyme, intonation, pre-formed tradition, innovations added to it, the poet's worldview, talent,
methods of artistic creation, growth evolution of the poet's work. Also, the structure of sentences in
his lyrics, grammar, punctuation marks and artistic tools are also important in determining the poet's
style. All this is reflected in the poet's skill in writing poetry.
In the 60s of the last century, a group of poets joined Karakalpak literature, including poetry,
with their lyrics that did not repeat the previous generation. Sh. Seytov, T. Matmuratov, U.
Khujanazarov, U. Pirzhanov, K. Rakhmanov, T. Sarsenbaev and other poets can be listed among
them. Although thematic closeness is evident in the lyrics of the mentioned poets, each of them
embodied them in their own way, based on their own worldview. Literary critic Kamal
Khudaibergenov called these poets the "new wave of poetry" [5]. In his article of the same name,
the literary critic often uses the term "individual tone" in relation to poets. We can understand this
as "individual style". Because, in fiction, including lyric, which is an artistic type, the increase of
individuality corresponds to the most developed period of poetry. To be more precise, the increase
of the creative layer in a certain folk poetry due to the demand of the times puts the poets-writers
the task of being original and not similar to others.
Ulmambet Khujanazarov and Uzagbai Pirjanov are among the artists who joined the "new
wave of poetry" and are distinguished by their individual style in poetry. The work of these poets
was recognized by a number of scholars in Karakalpak literary criticism. In particular, S.Akhmetov,
K.Khudaybergenov, K.Mambetov expressed their opinions about the ideological differences of
poets' lyrics in their scientific studies and critical articles. Some journalistic articles about poets and
their works were also published. However, the lyrics of U.Khujanazarov and U.Pirzhanov have not
been the object of separate scientific research. Therefore, the comparative study of poets' individual
style, worldview, theme and ideological research, genre, form, artistic features, artistic sources, and
issues of literary influence is considered to be one of the important tasks of contemporary literary
studies. "The method of comparing the works of two writers can be used to determine the personal
style of artistic wordsmiths. As a result of such comparisons, the similarities and differences of the
two writers are revealed" [1:86]. It is true, by comparing the lyrics of poets U.Khujanazarov and
U.Pirzhanov, their unique style can be seen.
So, style is one of the most important categories in understanding a work of art. The
aesthetic effect of a work of art on the human mind is directly related to the style. Its analysis is
quite complicated and requires a literary critic to have complex knowledge and experience.
