Izoh! I met some of my friends yesterday.
Some of them are coming tomorrow.
Some of these boys arrived late.
Some of this money is mine.
“Some” dan yasalgan boshqa olmoshlar
Example: Someone has forgotten their (his/ her) umbrella
Somewhere = “qayerdadir”, “bir joyda”
Example: They went somewhere yesterday
I left my bag somewhere in the kitchen.
Any
a) Any + ko’plik ot (ko’plik kesim) = “bir necha” (“hech qancha”)
Any + sanalmaydigan ot (birlik kesim) = “biroz” (“hech qancha”)
Ex: any girls, any students, any money, any time.
b) Anybody = “biror kishi”, (“hech kim”)
Anyone = “biror kishi”, (“hech kim”) + birlik kesim
Anything = “biror narsa”, (“hech narsa”)
Izoh! Orqasidan ot kelmaydi.
So’roq va bo’lishsiz gaplarda yuqoridagi ma’nolarda ishlatiladi.
Ex: I didn’t buy any new books yesterday.
We didn’t buy any flowers
Have you got any luggage?
Have they got any children
Did you buy any books?
I didn’t see anybody in the garden.
Can anybody help me with this work?
Has anybody seen my bag?
I don’t want to eat anything.
Did you invite anybody to the party?
N o (hech)
a) birlik ot (birlik kesim) a/an + birlik ot
No + ko’plik ot (ko’plik kesim) hech qancha = Not any+ ko’plik ot
sanalmaydigan ot (birlik kesim any + sanalmaydigan ot
b) No body – “hech kim” not anybody
No one – “hech kim” + birlik kesim = not anyone
Nothing - “hech narsa” not anything
Izoh! Orqasidan ot kelmaydi.
Example: I have no pen = I don’t have a pen.
- I have no friend = I don’t have a friend
- No cars are allowed in the city centre = -We had to walk home because there was no bus = We had to walk home because there was not a bus
- I have no friends = I don’t have any friends
- She has no milk = She doesn’t have any milk
- I saw nobody in the garden = I didn’t see anybody in the garden.
- I have got no time = I haven’t got any time
- I said nothing = I didn’t say anything
- What did you say?
- Nothing = -
Nobody came to the party
Nothing happened to him
No one came to visit us
