ECOLOGICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POPULATION TULIPA EICHLERI REGEL
Research on the study of species diversity, characteristics of endangered plants is crucial for
their conservation in nature. The problem of preservation of wild-growing kind Tulipa eichleri Regel becomes more and more actual in the north-eastern part of Azerbaijan, due to increased
anthropogenic influence on the environment. One of ways of preservation of the given species is
creation of collections introduced plants, followed by reintroduction, to restore their numbers in the
wild.
