Oil and gas firms can decarbonize
their operations and invest in alternative energy, but we, as individuals, and
society as a whole, must also play a part. We are all reliant on hydrocarbons
in every element of our life, not just in terms of energy, and many people will
need to see an economic justification before agreeing to fully participate in
the shift. It's just as important how we change our habits.
