INTRODUCTION The aim of the work: The aim of the work is to introduce the history of The Victorian age in English Literature. To expand on description of human morality in William works and to gain more information about their life and literary career. It assists to enlarge knowledge base and to provide all students with a basic knowledge of English literature.
The tasks of the work:
To study critic opinions about the works and investigate their place in English literature
To provide all students, regardless of their field of study, with a basic knowledge about Brief outline of Victorian Literature, the main authors of Victorian Literature
The investigation of the problem:Many scientists and writers investigated and studied William and works with great sympathy. They include Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Elizabeth Gaskell, George Eliot and others. One of the critics of that time called as “Critical Realism” in William’s works.
The actuality of the work:The actuality of the work is that the Victorian literature has been influential to society up to our day. We shall try to indicate briefly some of the ways in which the political, intellectual and emotional circumstances of a period of revolutionary upheaval affected the scope, subject-matter, themes values and even language of a number of Victorian age’s works1.
