Topic. Comparative analysis of modern approaches to the development of speaking skills.
INTRODUCTION
The topicality of the research work. Nowadays most of the scientific, academic and technological information in the world is conveyed in English. So, learning English is important to enter and ultimately succeed in all fields of our modern global life. For this reason, teaching English is becoming more and more complicated, demanding.
Today we can see noticeable improvement in the education system of Uzbekistan. Thus, on May 19, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced a decree “On measures for the further development of the quality of learning foreign languages” [1]. According to this decree: in all schools even kindergartens all necessary conditions should be created, teachers should use a modern way of teaching, 207 specialized schools should be established, schools that have a good results of learning foreign languages should be given a prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, English language teachers who has at least C1 certificate should get additional 50% of their salary, from the 2022 year students should have certificate of language in order to apply for a master degree. All necessary conditions were created and all language teaching facilities were provided. And on May 19, 2021 with initiative of President of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev gives more attention for teaching foreign languages, especially English language. According to PD-5117 “to increase learning foreign languages among people and organize this in order to be widespread “. Uzbekistan always on the process of developing its educational system bearing in mind that there is no limit for perfection. [1]
At the present stage of teaching English, the idea that the English language as a subject of study should be considered in school as a source of knowledge of universal and national culture is consistently affirmed.
Comparing different approaches to developing speaking skills to help identify best practices, strategies that can be adapted to diverse cultural contexts and evaluate the effectiveness of different approaches, such as task-based learning, communicative language teaching, and blended learning, in developing speaking skills.
