2. Do you still remember a New Year that you celebrated in your childhood? From my childhood until now, I have always loved the "New Year" holiday. Because the new year is different from other holidays. There was always hope in the New Year holiday. With each new year, I hoped that the difficulties of the old year would be left behind, that new and different things would happen. I believed that Santa Claus would come, bring gifts and ask what I wanted.
3. How did you celebrate the last New Year? I celebrated the last New Year with my family around a beautiful table. We had interesting conversations with our family members and talked about our plans for the upcoming new year. Later, when it was 12 o'clock, we had fireworks like everyone else.
4. Do you have any ceremonies to celebrate the New Year in your country? In our country, they welcome the New Year at a big festive table. A variety of dishes and mainly Champagne are on the table. It seems to people that we have been celebrating this holiday for centuries, but in fact, the beginning of celebrating the New Year in Azerbaijan coincides with the times of the USSR. Now December 31 in Azerbaijan is not only the New Year, but also the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World. Everyone wants to celebrate these two intertwined holidays in a memorable way.
