Article I. — There shall henceforth be perpetual peace, friendship, and complete concord between His Majesty the Emperor of Russia and His Majesty the Shah of Iran, their heirs and successors to the throne, their States and their mutual subjects.

Article III — His Majesty the Shah of Iran, on his own behalf and on behalf of his heirs and successors, concedes the full ownership of the Khanate of Iravan and Khanate of Nakhchivan to the Russian Empire on that side and that side of Araz. As a result of this concession, His Majesty the Shah promises to hand over to the Russian leadership all the archives and public documents related to the administration of the two khanates mentioned above, no later than six months after the signing of the present agreement.

Article IV — With the agreement of the high parties joining the treaty, the borders between the two states are decided within the following limits: the border line passes through the top of those mountains, starting from the nearest point in a straight direction from the top of the small Ağrı mountain at the end of the Ottoman lands; from here, along the slope, it falls to the upper reaches of the Lower Garasuchay, which flows from the south side of the Agra mountain, then the border line continues along the course of that river to the place where it flows into the Araza in front of Sharur; from this point to the Abbasabad fortress, it goes along the bed of the Araz river; here, next to the outer fortifications of the castle on the right bank of Araz, half a tree, that is, 3 1/2 Russian versts in width, will be bordered in all directions, and the surrounding land will belong to Russia in its entirety and will be divided with the highest precision within two months from today. The border line starts from that place, from the place where the specified circle joins the bank of Araz from the east side, and goes again along the bed of that river to Yeddibulag; from here the lands of Iran will stretch along the bed of the Araz river 3 trees, that is, 21 Russian versts; then the border goes through the Mughan plain to the Bulgar river, to the lands 3 trees below the confluence of the two small Adinabazar and Sarıgamysh rivers, i.e. 21 versts; the border continues from here up the left bank of the Bulgar River to the confluence of the aforementioned small Adinabazar and Sarikamysh rivers, then along the right bank of the East Adinabazar River to its upper reaches, and from here to the top of the Isa Cikoir hill in such a way that all the water flowing into the Caspian Sea from that hill will belong to Russia , and all the waters flowing towards Iran will belong to Iran.
