Go at it hammer and tongs
Meaning:
With great energy, power, passion, or enthusiasm; very
intensively; to have a very noisy argument.
Example: Our neighbors were going at it hammer and tongs all night.
Go down like a lead balloon
Meaning:
To be extremely unsuccessful, unloved, or unpopular.
Example: His political joke went down like a lead balloon; These stupid
questions go down like a lead balloon.
Go down like ninepins
Meaning:
