Types of Art 

  • Today, a special and important place in the decorative and Applied Art of Uzbekistan is occupied by the historical conditions of the cultural development of the Uzbek people. At the moment, the heritage of Applied Art in Uzbekistan is so huge that it is sometimes difficult to understand it. Among them are carpet weaving, wood carving, copper casting, Uzbek ceramics, dolls, textiles, jewelry, embroidery, gold embroidery, etc. These arts have evolved over the centuries, relying not only on local traditions, but also on folk wisdom, heritage passed down from generation to generation, family and national traditions. The developing folk applied art amazed with the artistic imagination, wealth and originality of a kind of Ethnos.

carpet art

  • The art of carpet weaving, the main branch of the artistic textile industry, is also common. Skillfully made carpets, Palos, shawls are woven in different shapes at each address on the basis of folk textile art. Colorful paint and geometric-shaped floral shawls are woven in Karshi and Koson districts, long patlik julqirs-shaped Palos in Samarkand region districts, "red-foot" carpets are woven in Andijan's Ayim village. And Khiva is famous for its woven carpets based on the stopper technique.

Ceramics

  • In recent times, pottery works have been established in Uzbekistan. Each city and district has its own style when making ceramic objects and painting on it, and the Masters have their own traditions. Bukhara and Qijduvon masters use more intense-brown paints, Rishton masters use blue, blue-Air color, Samarkand masters use green-yellow color, Shahrisabz masters use reddish paint.

  • Cashing is a craft that requires especially patience, strong nerves, high diligence. Kaikovus, the grandson of Gabus, who lived in the 10th century, also believed that vocational learning is the duty of every age.
