Initially/ firstly, the first step is that, the whole process begins with/ to start with/ in the first stage
The first step of the process starts with drying animal skin in open air after which it is delivered/ transported to a factory by a lorry.
The following steps happen in the factory to make the raw material for the goods. The animal skin is first washed in the mixture of water and lime before being soaked in lime. Once the animal skin is flattened by a special machine, it is then soaked in a liquid called tannin a combination of water and vegetable matter before being polished.
In the following step, it is taken by a truck to another factory where leather goods such as balls, bags and shoes are produced and delivered for sale in the last step.
