1The comparison of functional styles in Uzbek and English language

GLOSSARY
Popular (popular, journalistic) style - the language of the press, radio, television
Artistic style - is a style in which the means of artistic expression are based on
expressions and mostly figurative words.
Colloquial style- is the specific use of language units within the framework of everyday informal, free interactions of people.
Official style (style of official business papers)- is a form of modern Uzbek literary language used in official correspondence and legal work.
Scientific method - is a task method related to science, technology and production.
Efficient learning management- Making sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time, physically and mentally, that they know what they are doing, and that processes run effectively without too much intervention.
The journalistic style -is a type of functional style, which is characterized by the use of social and political words and expressions, diversity of genres and, as a result, the variety of stylistic use of language tools, etc..
The artistic style - is distinguished by the unity of communicative and aesthetic functions of the language, the wide use of elements characteristic of other styles, the extensive use of expressive and pictorial means, figurative and metaphorical use of words, and similar signs.
Knowledge management- Systematically recording, organising knowledge. Creating schemas. Designing for effective search.
Large-group teaching- Large-group teaching is defined as: teaching sessions in which the teacher spends significant amount of time addressing the whole class, the size of which means that the teacher cannot easily hold discussions with each and every individual.
Making links to employability- We might make links to the work place, its knowledge and skills, from specific intended learning outcomes, activities, assessments and methods.
