Q206. What is the most important subject you study at school?
A. Sample Answer
Though I study many
necessary subjects at school, I think that the
most important subject is
English. To start off, English is an extremely popular language. Many people all over the world learn
English. So, even if you travel to a country where you don’t
know the language,
there is a good
chance you’ll still be able to communicate with people if you know English. There always seems to
be someone everywhere that knows the language. You don’t need to learn many different languages as
long as you know English. Secondly,
in my English class, we read many interesting novels. These
novels help to mold my world perspective. I have learned many valuable lessons from books such as
The Scarlet Letter, 1984, and Great Expectations. I love reading and examining the author’s critique
of the world. It enables me to remain sensitive to, yet critical of, the world in which I am growing up.
Thus, I believe English is probably the most important subject that I learn in school.
