SECTION 1 – PROGRAMME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 
Admission to the second-cycle degree programme in Economics is subject to: 
a)
possession of a Bachelor’s DEGREE QUALIFICATION. Candidates who have not yet graduated may 
also apply. The application procedures are outlined in section 3; 
b)
satisfaction of the CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS outlined in section 2; 
c)
satisfaction of the LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS and, specifically, knowledge of English to at least 
B2 level, to be demonstrated according to the procedures set out in section 5; 
d)
assessment of a candidate's PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS in accordance with the 
procedures set out in section 3. 
A specifically-appointed committee will check the candidates' academic backgrounds and that they meet 
the requirements for admission. The committee includes: Prof. Francesca Barigozzi (Chairman), Prof. 
Paolo Vanin (Member), Prof. Silvia Sarpietro (Secretary). Other professors in the degree programme may 
also sit on the committee as alternate members. 
SECTION 2 – CURRICULAR AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS 
CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS
To profitably attend the Master’s Degree in Economics and Econometrics - LM(EC)
2
- it is necessary to 
have adequate knowledge of economic theory and quantitative analysis. To be admitted to LM(EC)
2
it is 
necessary to hold an Italian undergraduate degree in one of the following degree classes:

In case you do not meet the requirements above, the admission committee will verify, all the same, 
whether or not you hold the skills and competences needed to be admitted, on the basis of your CV and 
transcripts. If the committee identifies such skills and competences as adequate, you will be admitted to 
evaluation (see section 5). 
If you graduated (or will graduate) from a non-Italian University, the committee will ascertain the 
equivalence between the non-Italian and the Italian degree. 
In any case, admission to the Master’s Degree in Economics and Econometrics is conditional to an 
assessment by the committee, by means of the documents provided and according to the criteria 
specified below. 
You may apply even if you have not yet obtained a Bachelor’s degree. However, you will have to obtain it 
within
