CONCLUSION
All in all, when planning a speaking skills lesson, be aware that using language in speech is not necessarily practice of speaking as a language skill. Developing the range of competencies that make ‘a good speaker’ takes focus on the ways that we speak to different people, and the ways we construct what we are saying. This is independent from the grammar and vocabulary we use in real life, so should be kept separate from pure language input in the language classroom.17 The implementation of Talking Stick method could improve the students’ English speaking skill. It could be seen from the increasing of the students’ mean score from the pretest to the posttest of cycle 2. The students’ mean score in the pretest is 55,63, in the posttest of cycle 1 is 66,36, and in the posttest of cycle 2 is 76,81. The students’ responses after learning English speaking skill through the implementation of Talking Stick method are very positive. All of them agreed that the implementation of Talking Stick method could improve their English speaking skill. The analysis of qualitative data showed that the learning teaching atmosphere became more alive and enjoyable after Talking Stick method was implemented in the speaking classes so that the students were more active and enthusiastic in speaking the English language. English teachers for primary school students had better teach English speaking skill by implementing Talking Stick method because the implementation of Talking Stick method is able to create a pleasant and challenging learning atmosphere so that students feel more motivated and interested in learning English speaking skill, The learners of English are suggested to practice speaking in the English language more and more. The more they practice speaking in the English language, the better their English speaking skill will be. They should be active and enthusiastic in the speaking classes and need not to be shy or afraid of making mistakes, Other writers who are going to conduct much deeper studies on improving students’ English speaking skill through the implementation of Talking Stick method; the results of this research are expected to be able to provide them valuable information about how to improve students’ English speaking skill through the implementation of Talking Stick method.18 Communication is one of a handful of core soft skills that can make a significant difference in just about every aspect of life. You can read about the importance of soft skills here. For many of us, effective speaking skills don’t always come easily. For some, they require work, patience, and determination. You can’t expect to turn into an amazing orator overnight. Developing eloquence may take sustained effort, regular practice, and reinforcing helpful habits over years or even decades. If this sounds disheartening, remember to focus on why you’re doing this. By improving your speaking skills, you’ll enjoy many benefits professionally and personally. Develop at your own pace and enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from expressing yourself well and participating in rewarding conversations.19
It is necessary to focus on teaching students speaking skills through different methods without using one type of structure. It is important that the student can speak English. For this we have to use different methods and games.
The student can learn to speak English with the help of a teacher with clear and understandable pronunciation. Sometimes teachers' pronunciation is unclear and incomprehensible. In pronunciation, the teacher must follow the rules of pronunciation. In a short period of time, it requires high pedagogical skills from the student to be able to acquire the ability to speak English.
