Create New Folder and Lesson
Important: make sure you are in Master Mode.
Click on the
button and then the
button
to select
mode.
CNCTRAIN includes several CNCteach lessons covering the G and M codes of the active CNC
control. They are stored in the 'G and M CODES' folder and can be selected and changed or
copied and pasted into a new lesson.
CREATE NEW FOLDER AND LESSON
You can click on the
button to return to
mode.
For now stay in
CNCTEACH MODE.
Click on the
button to display the CNCTEACH LESSONS form.
Enter a Folder name in the top left pull down edit box. Click
on the
button to create a new folder.

to create a new filename.

Define Billet
Define Billet
Select from the Command List and add the [BILLET] X150Y100Z20:
by pressing the
button.
Select from the Command List and add the [BILLET SHIFT] X0Y0Z0: by pressing the
button.
Select from the Command List and add the [MATERIAL]=Mild Steel: by pressing the
button.
Edit the material as required
Select from the Command List and add the [CLEAR BILLET]: by pressing the
button.
These commands will set the 'Billet Size'
and 'Billet Datum' shift values. If the billet datum is the bottom left
hand corner then there
is no need to set this command. Clear Billet will redraw the billet after Cycle Start.
Edit the billet values as shown above.
