2. Relevance of the topic.

George Gordon, the most sensational and famous of the great English Romantic poets, Lord Byron was also the most fashionable poet of the early 1800s. He created a very popular romantic hero - submissive, sad, hidden guilt - who for many seemed like a role model. .

3. Tasks and tasks of work. The first purpose of my work is to define the term " George Gordon Noel Byron".

4. The novelty of the work. He also presents a romantic paradox: the leader of the poetic revolution of the time, he referred to Alexander the Pope as his mentor; an idealist, he never lost touch with reality; a deist and freethinker, he retained from his youth his original Calvinist sense of guilt; being his age, he defended freedom in his labors and deeds, giving money, time, power and, finally, his life to the Greek war of independence.
