I mean when people read something, their brain should process the information, and use their imagination whereas when they watch something everything is ready for them and in movies, they use different effects to make a particular scene more engaging and people find it interesting. 3. Is it hard to protect historical buildings? I think so, as preservation of historical buildings requires funding by the government and sometimes it might get too challenging when a particular area is home to millions of tourists since the more tourists visit a particular area, the more pollution and the more damage they can bring, I mean unintentionally, tourists can damage historical buildings, they want to take photos, they want to explore every corner of a building, so it means at least every year, government should make investments into restoring or reconstructing them. Additionally, if a particular building is too old, it obviously requires a lot to preserve them, so if it doesn’t have a historical significance it had better be repurposed.
4. Do you think everyone should learn history? I am always against the idea of forcing people to learn something, it is all about their interests, if they are interested in history or cultures and traditions, they can do it, but otherwise we shouldn’t make them. Yes, it is a good idea to have general knowledge about history, for example when you travel, this knowledge can come in useful to you, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone should know it inside out, if their profession or specialty has nothing to do with history, they don’t
