Education is a major priority in the United Kingdom, and its education system is world-renowned. The 
country has a systematic and consistent approach to education, with a core national curricula that is 
standardized across all levels of education. The government spends a considerable amount of its budget on 
education, and the system operates both publicly and privately. The UK higher education system is highly 
ranked in the world, with prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge drawing students from 
all over the globe. Overall, the UK education system provides students with a well-rounded education 
that prepares them for future academic and career success.
- Economy and trade in the UK
The economy of the United Kingdom is the sixth largest in the world by nominal GDP, and the ninth 
largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). The UK has a large global presence, especially in finance, with

Additionally, the US has been a major destination for international students who want to learn English. 
The prevalence of English in the US has led to the emergence of American English, a distinct variation 
of the language.
