Abstract: 
Observations and studies on the water-salt regime of 
anthropogenically created sierozem-meadow soils of the Hunger Steppe zone 
were carried out by us on two observation sites 0.2 hectares in size each, located 
in the middle part of the interdrainage on the territory of the Timurmalik Water 
Users Association of the Sardaba district of the Syrdarya region. It was revealed that 
the water-salt regime of the studied soils mainly depends on the irrigation regime. 
To prevent secondary soil salinization and create favorable conditions for crops, 
it is necessary to increase the efficiency of existing drainage networks by 65-70 
running meters per hectare and maintain soil moisture within 75-80% of the lowest 
soil moisture capacity, as well as raise the overall level of agricultural technology.

Abstract: 
In the 21st century, the main attention is paid to ensuring the quality 
and competitiveness of higher education through the development of professional 
competencies of employees and, first of all, teachers. This article discusses attempts 
to introduce a competency-based learning model in the training and development 
of personnel in the context of the Concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals 
(SDGs) of the United Nations and the European Higher Education Area of the 
European Union (EHEA. 2010). The article also presents views on the mechanisms 
of continuous development of professional skills based on the humanization of 
education, which is considered as one of the strategic directions of higher education.
