geliştiğini unutmamak gerekir.

Abstract: This study will focus on new paradigms in education in parallel
with globalization, digital technology and information society. The five suggested
issues in this framework can be summarized as follows: First, educational institutions
should aim to train students at a global level. It is necessary to train students who
are qualified and equipped to be employed all over the world based upon student’s
specialization.
Secondly, it is inevitable for students to go through a multi-disciplinary
education. The main purpose of education is to give the student a certain formation,
method and discipline. In this regard, while the student deepens in a certain field,
it should be ensured that students receive education in other fields that complement
their field of expertise. This situation will cause the student to grow up equipped
with a multi-dimensional knowledge instead of one-dimensional one.
Third, when we consider the fact that the language of the global world is
English, it is of great importance to ensure students’ command of English in a way
that will improve their language skills and use them all over the world.
Fourth, it is necessary to pave the way for digital education by taking
advantage of the developments in technology. Digital technology provides a great
opportunity to reach education by overcoming the limitations of space and borders.
Now we need to make better use of this opportunity. Especially in graduate education,
digital technology is extremely important. Digital technology also contributes to
the realization of joint education programs with universities from other parts of the
world.
Finally, joint education programs with universities from different countries
should be organized and education should be given by taking advantage of the
opportunities of digital technology.
With an education system structured in this way, we can raise students who
think multi-dimensionally, respond to the needs of the global system, and find
original and creative solutions by developing different perspectives under different
conditions. Thus, we can leave the understanding of education, which envisages
raising passive individuals who accept what is given as they are, refrain from
expressing themselves, and who are obedient and behind memorizing. Today,
it should not be forgotten that creative and original developments in technology,
science, art and thought develop in societies based on primary education system.
