2. Obtaining steel in Marten furnaces. 
In an oxygen converter, ferro-alkaline, 
hard cast iron soot cannot be produced. That's why marten ovens are used. Fuel and 
air sent to the furnace are heated due to the flue gas from the furnace and sent to

). solid, liquid cast iron is placed in the furnace. furnace capacity 30-80 tons, 
250-500 tons. steel preparation time will be 6-12 hours. 
3. Making steel in electric furnaces 
. It is used to obtain high-quality alloy 
steel. Such a furnace has a high temperature, a simple structure, and it is possible to 
remove p and S more. Currently, mainly electric arc and induction furnaces are used. 
4. Electric arc furnaces. 
the furnace capacity is 0.5-200 tons, and the 
electrodes are placed vertically. The electrode is made of graphite. 200-500 mm in 
diameter, 3 meters long, a spark created between the metal and the electrode 
generates a lot of heat.

5. Induction ovens
. Very high-quality, high-temperature-resistant steels are 
obtained in these furnaces. The volume will be 30 kg-30 tons. In this furnace, the 
first coil is a copper tube, and the second is liquid metal in a crucible. When a current 
is sent, a magnetic field is created and the metal particles move and become heated. 
And the slag comes to the surface.
