3. Gapning kesimi tarkibida likely ehtimol, balki, unlikely mahol, 
ehtimoldan uzoq, certain shubhasiz, begumon, sure aniq, ishonchli sifatlari 
bo‘lganda ulardan keyin infi nitivli nominativ ishlatiladi. Simple Infi nitive 
ishlatilsa, kelasi zamondagi ish-harakatni bildiradi:
They are likely to come soon. (= It 
is likely that they will come soon.)
Aftidan ular tezda kelishadi.
The goods are unlikely to arrive at 
the end of the week. (= It is unlikely 
that the goods will arrive at the end 
of the week.)
Mollarni haftaning oxirigacha 
yetib kelishi mahol (dargu-
mon).
They are certain to come to Lon-
don. (= It is certain that they will 
come to London.)
Ular shubhasiz Londonga keli-
shadi.
He is sure to return soon.
