Gender equality

In our history, women have always been honored in our society as a symbol of kindness and loyalty. At present, various and modern programs are being implemented by our state in order to further enhance the status of women in society, including in order to recognize the equal rights of women, broad opportunities and benefits are being created. For example, on September 2^nd , 2019, the law “On guarantees of equal rights and opportunities for women and men”was adopted. The main goal of the law with wide coverage is to create equal opportunities for all and to properly regulate relations. There is required to ensure equality in all spheres of life and activity of society, including politics, economy, ideology, culture and science, in the relationship of “men and women”.

In order for women to take an active part in their activities, in the management of Public Affairs, to create a wide range of opportunities and to occupy leadership positions, we need to ensure equal participation of men and women in the competition, to increase the activity of initiative women.

We know that in order to achieve gender equality, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “until 2030” on the approval of the strategy for achieving Gender equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The issue of Gender equality has risen to the level of Public Policy, and 25 legislative acts have been adopted. In the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, a committee on women's and Gender equality was formed. For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, in the “Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the number of women reached almost 32%, and among more than 190 parliaments in the world, it took 37 place. The share of women in managerial positions increased to 27%, 44% in parties, 40% in higher education and 35% in entrepreneurship, which led to a further increase in women's self-confidence. [5-12]

On the basis of Gender equality, as a result of the reforms which are carrying out, the social activities of our women have increased to a few traditions, and of course it is not an exaggeration to say that in the future our adorable women will grow up and restore their prosperity for the development and growth of our society.

In conclusion, our basic law – constitution includes a number of rights of people, such as personal, political, legal, social and economical sphere. In a short period of time, we can clearly say that our Constitution, which perfectly pursues the role of the main law, as a worthy provider of human rights in our country, serves for during a long years for the next generations.
