10.4.3. Responsibility towards employees:
The management has to provide a fair deal to its
employees by planning for-
-
social security
- profit sharing
- promotions
- Fair wages
- Equal opportunities
- Welfare
- Recognition
- Rewards
-Training.
The management should provide opportunities to the workers for the improvement of edu-
cation, training and up grading of skills. The employer should encourage the workers to partici-
pate in the management. Further the management should try to get cooperation of the workers by
creating good atmosphere and by providing better working conditions, living conditions to the
workers. The management should not treat the workers as a commodity which can be bought and
sold at their will. Efforts should be made to improve worker management
relations and difference
if any should be settled by negotiations without giving scope for strikes and lockouts.
