THE ACTIVITY OF PEOPLE IN
THE MARKET ECONOMY
Market economy is a type o f economy which is based 
on the monetary-goods circulations and is managed on 
the base o f economic laws which are characteristic for 
them.
The main features o f market economy are the 
following:
1. Economic pluralism. It is a variety o f the forms 
o f property and conducting the economy. Here different 
forms o f property are developed freely, side-by-side and 
unlimitedly.
2. M arket economy is a free economy. Here the absolute 
independence o f property owners is understood.
The producer and consumer can apply their goods and 
money as they know.
3. In the market economy the relations are arranged 
planning the benefit.
4. Another feature o f market economy is a liberalization 
o f prices, that is a free organization o f prices.
5. M arket economy has typical rules o f social justice.
Market economy is an adaptable system. It can answer
the changes o f condition immediately and accepts the 
news o f the science and technology easily.
As the market is an activity o f million producers and 
consumers confusion and egoism are also characteristic 
for it.
Realizing the creational and labour possibilities 
o f people, market economy opens the way to the 
enterpreneurship and business.
