were explored the establishment of Irevan Governorate, the policy of 

Christianization of tsarism and its results, were shown the general 

characteristics of ethnic and confessional relations in the governorate. 

In the third chapter of the thesis entitled “Ethnic relations in the 

Irevan Governorate at the beginning of the 20

th

 century” the acts of the 

genocide of 1905-1906 committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijani 

Turks, the national colonial policy of tsarism and the anti-Turkish policy of 

Armenians were investigated. 

The  conclusion summarizes the results of scientific research and the 

main conclusions are given.
