Midterm Project
1. Assume that you are currently the manager of a hypermarket. If
there is a major argument amongst your employees for unknown
reasons, please suggest how you would resolve this.
First of all, I would clarify what is the source of the argument.
Secondly, find a safe and private place to talk with those employees who take part in
this conflict.
Then, Listen actively and let everyone have their say.
After that, surely, I would investigate the situation they explained.
Finally, determine ways to meet universal solution for this argument and which lead
us to common goal.
During the resolving the issue, I try to focus on the issue, not the person: Encourage
parties to avoid personal attacks and focus on problem-solving.
2. How will the manager's morality and attitude toward social
contribution affect employees' work attitudes?
Manager’s morality and attitude is the key factor for work efficiency. If manager's
social skills are not in good manner, this affect the quality of workers seriously, as a
result , workers also start to get stressed .One of the direct impacts of bad
management worker stress , which could be triggered by instances a strained
relationship with a supervisor or an unmanageable workload. It is widely accepted
that a majority of engaged, productive staff achieve a healthy work-life balance;
however, stress at work can carry over to misery or dread at home, resulting in an
emotionally-drained employee who is most likely unhappy in their job.
On the other hand, if it is good enough, they can lead the company to the
unbelievable achievements with their attractive social skills. Managers with such a
good manner can boost staff morale by winning their trust. It assures employees of
the leader's confidence in their abilities to deliver on the vision and mission of the
organization. High morale among employees reduces distraction and motivates them
to devote their energies to achieve organizational goals.
