MOOD
Mood is one of the kinds of modality, which may be expressed both by lexical means (modal verbs (may, can, must, etc.) and modal words (perhaps, probably, etc.)).
The category of mood presents the interpretation of the action by the speaker from the point of view of its relation to reality.
Most of Russian grammarians distinguish three moods in Modern English. It is a traditional division.
