2. FORMULATION 

Optimization problem has been shown in equation (1).

λ shows a coefficient of load taking for buses. This index which is output of continuation 

power flow has been expressed in equation (2). Minimizing – λ is equivalent to maximizing λ.

 is load taking of busses in normal condition and 

 shows the maximum load taking 

of busses, and TCSC shows the difference of them. Equation (3) also shows target function of 

power losses.

In this equation “i” shows the sum of network lines. R shows resistance of the lines and I 

shows current of lines. Constraints of the problem are also expressed in equation (4).

Then  results  of  simulations  have  been  presented.  Studied  network  is  an  IEEE  standard 

30-bus network which has been shown in figure (1).
