The Principles of the Audio-Lingual Method are concluded from the aims of learning a foreign language"27. It means that the principles of the Audio- Lingual Method do not go far away from the aims of learning a foreign language their selves. The idea behind such a technique is that it helps the learner to create good habits. there are two aims in this method, they are linguistic aims of the Audio-Lingual Method and the cultural aims. The linguistic aims of the Audio-Lingual method are:
Language learners are able to comprehend the foreign language when it is spoken at normal speed and concerned with ordinary matters.
Language learners are able to speak in acceptable pronunciation and grammathcal correctness.
Language learners have no difficulties in comprehending printed materials.
Language can be broken down into three major Component parts: the sound system, the structure, and the vocabulary.28
