Abstract: This article is devoted to the
organization of effective
ESP-training in the
university, as well as the use of specially selected
materials and developed tasks for ESP (organized
into a subsection / component of a holistic ESP
training program). The
aim of the study was the
development and practical application of the ESP
program component aimed at providing effective
ESP training for first-year master students of the
technical faculty at Tashkent State University of
Applied
Sciences
INTRODUCTION
Studying at the university undoubtedly plays a key role in the life of every person. After all, getting a
quality education largely determines the achievement of success and well-being in life. It is safe to say
that each university directs all efforts to ensure a comprehensive, holistic educational process. After all,
only in this case it is possible to form and develop a holistic personality with professional competence.
In turn, foreign language teachers, understanding the importance of foreign language education for the
future professional activities of students, strive to organize favorable conditions so that each student,
upon graduation from the university, feels the ability and readiness for
the easy use of a foreign
language in any communicative life situation, as well as in the field of professional activity. In the course
of carrying out professional duties, knowledge of a foreign language is indispensable and necessary.
Knowledge of a foreign language is of particular relevance for students wishing to build a career in
companies cooperating with foreign partners. University implements many projects with international
enterprises. It is reasonable to conclude that an important component
of comprehensive foreign
language education at the university is ESP (English for specific purposes - English for specific
purposes) - teaching English for special purposes.
This training is aimed at the formation and development of foreign
language professional
communicative competence of students, i.e. development and improvement of students' speech skills
