Poland:
The 1945 Potsdam conference moves the Polish border with Russia to
the western border of the Oder-Neisse River in Germany (the
approximate line
suggested by Curzon at the end of the First World War).
Germany:
As part of the 1945 Potsdam negotiations and post war settlement,
Poland absorbs East Prussia.
Italy:
After Italy's defeat in 1945, Italian colonies are
taken over by the United
Nations, and Italy ceases to be a colonial power.
Memel:
In 1946 the USSR annexes Memel.
