12.6 SUMMARY
Thus, in the case of formal organisation the position, authority, responsibility and accountability of
each level are clearly defined. It prescribes the relationship which exist amongst the people working
in the organization. On the other hand, informal organization arises from the social interaction of
people in the organization. The two types of organizations differ in some aspects and have relationship
is some other aspects. Infact informal organization is a supplement to the formal organization.
