The term "character" (behaviour) is taken from the Greek word "charakter"[1] and is a
characteristic sign, a set of characteristic signs that are manifested in a person's behavior and
attitude to the events of life. The concept of "character" is one of the words that are often used in
everyday life in our language. We often use it to evaluate others. Character is a complex of
subjective psychological attitudes of a person, which determine his attitude towards everything
(nature), people, objectivity and himself.
In philosophy, the concepts of "Temperament" and "Character" are close to each other.
Character is a behavioural way of a person. Also, personality traits may be related to character and
temperament. Behavior is closely related to a person's orientation, spirituality and business. There
are many theories about character that are accepted with a smile, and there is no one that stops at
one point. There are many character traits. It is explained by stability, business, stubbornness,
stubbornness, boldness and, on the contrary, instability, cowardice, and suspicion. Due to the lack
of a universally accepted theory of character, which adequately describes the individual
characteristics of a person, usually only the characteristics of a person are taken into account when
evaluating the character, for example, cautious, proud, cheerful, lying flaws, brave and so on. If
temperament is an innate quality, then character is often related to upbringing and social experience
of people. Education and family have a great place in shaping character.
The problem of character is also studied in the science of linguistics in connection with the
science of philosophy. "Anthropocentric theory'' is used in the analysis of texts regarding the world
view and speech culture of a person.
In this, psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic tools are considered an important factor. Speech
is individual, and the individuality of the language is preserved in each individual's speech.
Regarding the individual manifestations of the speaking skill, there are common ways of speaking
characteristic of certain people's representatives. This creates an opportunity to improve the concept
of national character. In the written fiction or in the text, the character of the characters is shaped
and improved by their speech [7.112-113]. So, we can say that in fiction, in prose or poetry, the
character appears in the expressions of the hero or the lyrical hero, as well as in monologues and
dialogues. Here, we discussed the issue of character in philosophy and linguistics. In our work, we
aimed to study the problem of character in literary works and in this work in lyrical works.
In the science of literature, the problem of character is studied in every study. The problem
of character in prose works was studied in detail in the minutes of works such as V. Khalizev[16],
V.V. Sobolev[13], G.M. Imomova[6]. In Karakalpak literary studies, the problem of character in
prose works has been studied by a number of scientists[3]. In the Russian-Karakalpak Dictionary of
Literary Terms, "Character is a hero in a work of art who has his own uniqueness, who has risen to
the level of an individual person, and whose every interpretation has been revealed. In the work of
